	SPU offers incentives for customers who purchase ENERGY STAR® approved products. ENERGY STAR is a government backed program that designates which

  products meet strict efficiency guidelines. Rebates are offered on the   following ENERGY STAR products:

     Light Fixtures with Integral Motion Sensor
     Refrigerators
     Freezers
     Clothes Washers
     Dehumdifiers
     Dishwashers

  Home Efficiency Check-Up

  With a Home Efficiency Check-Up, SPU will send an energy   professional to your home who will conduct a walk-through inspection   of your home and will identify ways to improve energy efficiency in   your home, helping you make the most of your energy dollar.

  Three options are available:

  Home Efficiency Check-Up $75 value. Your cost: FREE
  An energy expert will perform a basic energy analysis of your home   and provide a detailed report, including specific actions you can take   to improve your home's energy efficiency.

  Home Efficiency Analysis $150 value Your cost: $35
  A Home Efficiency Analysis provides detailed information for greater   potential energy savings. (Includes services of a Home Efficiency   Check-Up)

  Home Efficiency Inspection $250 value Your cost: $100
  A Home Efficiency Inspection provides a detailed analysis of your   home's energy use. (Includes services of a Home Efficiency Check-Up   and a Home Efficiency Analysis)

Energy Efficient Lighting

ENERGY STAR Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFBs) create bright, warm light while using two-thirds less energy and last up to 10 times longer than standard lighting.

Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb Rebate:
ENERGY STAR CFB... $2.00 each (maximum of 5)

ENERGY STAR qualified light fixtures come in hundreds of decorative styles, including portable fixtures. By installing ENERGY STAR qualified fixtures you can cut your lighting energy usage by up to 66 percent.

Energy Efficient Light Fixture Rebate:

ENERGY STAR Fixtures.$15.00 each (max of 5)

Light fixtures with integral (built-in) motion sensor qualify for an additional rebate.

Light Fixture with Integral Motion Sensor:

Bonus rebate……….. $ 5.00 each (maximum of 5)

Heating, Cooling & Comfort

Enjoy greater comfort and energy savings when you replace your heating and/or cooling system that is 15 years old or older. Plus, enjoy additional savings with a cash rebate from SPU.

Save money and energy – choose ENERGY STAR replacement windows and doors! ENERGY STAR doors meet strict guidelines, including improved core materials, tighter fit through improved weather-stripping, and multi-pane glass. Manufacturers use an array of advanced technologies to make ENERGY STAR replacement windows, including improved frame materials, multi-panes, low-e glass, gas fills, and warm edge spacers.
